Visiting Tangier with kids works very well when you match the pace and neighbourhoods to children. The city combines beaches, green spaces, strait views and easy walks. Summary: • Corniche and Marina: wide and flat, perfect for kids and strollers. • Cap Spartel and Rmilat / Perdicaris: open air, pine forest, panoramas. • Medina and Kasbah: beautiful but cobbled and hilly — carry small children. Family-friendly areas and activities: • Seafront walk along the Corniche, ice cream or snack break. • Tanja Marina Bay: stroll, boats, family restaurants. • Cap Spartel: lighthouse, Mediterranean / Atlantic meeting point, nearby beaches. • Rmilat forest / Perdicaris park: trails in the pine shade. Medina with children: • Prefer a short morning visit. • Hold kids by the hand in narrow alleys. • Light stroller or carrier depending on age. Daily comfort: • Water, hat and sunscreen in summer. • A light fleece in the evening, even outside winter, because of strait winds. • Petit taxis fit 1 adult + 2 kids; grand taxis for larger families.
