Tangier's souks group traders by trade, as in every historic Moroccan city. Souk Dakhel and Fondouk Chejra are two key spots: the first concentrates crafts and food around the Petit Socco; the second is a former caravanserai where weavers still work.

- Souk Dakhel: the “inner souk”, vegetables, spices, crafts — very lively in the morning.
- Fondouk Chejra: former caravanserai, wool weaving, authentic atmosphere.
- Grand Socco markets: medicinal herbs, flowers, light crafts.
