Salle Beckett hosts “Iqtibās — Allumer son feu au foyer d'un autre” on Saturday 24 October 2026 at 7.30pm, presented by the Institut Français de Tanger.
The title plays on the Arabic word iqtibās, which means both quotation and borrowing a flame from someone else's fire — a direct image of dialogue between texts and languages.
Admission is free, with no booking. As with any limited-capacity room, arriving early is the surest way to get a seat.
The official source gives no postal address for Salle Beckett, nor the language or running time of the performance. We prefer to add nothing: check those details on the official listing before travelling.
How to get there
In town, a petit taxi (blue, on the meter) is simplest. For sites outside the centre such as Cap Spartel, take a grand taxi and agree the price before leaving.
